I create beautiful and engaging eLearning trainings your learners will love!
About Me
I am an education professional teaching middle school math for the past eight years. During this time, I have been committed to ongoing professional learning and development to promote students' welfare and ensure successful learning through data-driven instruction, collaborative learning strategies, and the successful integration of technology.
My experience in the classroom helped me discover my passion for creating fun and engaging learning experiences while strategically utilizing technology to gauge engagement and, most importantly, measure learning outcomes. I found a true sense of fulfillment through my lesson creation and bring the same passion and commitment to the instructional design world. I create meaningful learning experiences that solve problems through design solutions. I am a lifelong learner and I thrive in a culture that encourages creativity, agility, teamwork, hard work, and personal accountability.
I have completed my MS in Learning Design and Technology at the University of San Diego.

At the core of my instructional design are four pillars. I implement a learner-centered approach, apply research-based learning theories, and create fun and engaging learning opportunities using emerging technologies while tracking success through a data-driven approach.
As an educator and instructional designer, I have a background in pedagogy (children and youth-focused methods) and andragogy (adult education). The years in the classroom helped me be excellent at chunking large concepts, engaging learners, and explaining concepts in ways learners respond best. Through my experience in the Learning Design and Technology program at the University of San Diego, I have explored emerging technologies that help foster a fun and engaging learning experience and solidify adult learning principles.
Finally, collaboration is a cornerstone of my work as an educator and instructional designer. Building authentic relationships with all involved in the project ensures that the best solution to an instructional problem is achieved together to help all learners participate and thrive.
On a Personal Note
When I am not lesson planning or exploring an educational technology tool, you'll find me with my four-year-old son and my husband discovering new hiking trails. I grew up in East Los Angeles but now call Vancouver, Washington home.
